Trainer Experience:
Reining at the elite level requires a rare blend of athletic power and extreme mental focus. Glen-Arthur Estival brings over 15 years of professional experience to the arena, a journey that began at his family’s prestigious facility, King's Valley Quarter Horses, in Vitry-aux-Loges, France. Growing up in the heart of the European horse industry provided Glen with a deep, foundational understanding of equine development from a young age.
To master the sport at its most competitive level, Glen moved to the United States to refine his craft under the industry's most successful icons. He spent several years as a lead assistant for NRHA $10 Million Rider, Andrea Fappani. During his time at Fappani Performance Horses, Glen was instrumental in the daily training and preparation of some of the world's most famous reining athletes. Today, Glen operates his own premier training business in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he applies a meticulous, "horse-first" system to develop high-caliber prospects for the sport’s biggest stages.

Estival Reining Horse Training Program
At Estival Reining Horses, the mission is clear: to develop elite equine athletes with patience, skill, and a focus on long-term soundness. Glen’s program is highly specialized, offering a "boutique" experience where every horse receives individualized attention.
-
Elite Two-Year-Old Foundation: Glen is a specialist in starting young horses, emphasizing a "quiet" and responsive foundation that prepares them for the rigors of the NRHA Futurity.
-
Aged Event Specialization: His program is designed specifically for the NRHA Futurity and Derby cycle, ensuring horses are mentally fresh and physically peaking for the major shows.
-
Technical Non-Pro Coaching: Glen provides sophisticated, high-level coaching for dedicated Non-Pro riders, helping them master the maneuvers and "show smarts" required to win at a national level.
-
Selective Training Slots: To ensure the highest quality of care and training, Glen maintains a limited number of horses, allowing him to personally handle the development of every athlete in his care.
Glen’s philosophy is rooted in the "process"—he believes that by building a horse's confidence early on, the high-scoring maneuvers like 20-foot slides and lightning-fast spins become a natural expression of the horse's talent
