B17-712 is built with chocolate leather with the skirts, swells, and cantle being rough out, and the rest of the saddle is stamped with a southwest border. The Texas skirt pattern has a modified cowhorse cut up under the fenders to allow close contact. The 8 1/2'' tall BW front end has a Texas hardseat providing a deeper pocket for the rider.
